Charlie Sheen’s 5 Rules to Success

Charlie Sheen is well-known as the lovable, womanizing, wealthy cad on Two and a Half Men.

Sheen is also well-known for his real life exploits as a Hollywood Lothario, frequent rehab-er, and actor who makes $850,000 per episode of his number one hit TV show.

Yeah, this is Charlie Sheen we’re talking about here.  This dude seems to have it all figured out.  Or nothing figured out, if you really look at it.  But despite all the craziness that has been his life, the Ma-Sheen still seems to be able to end up on top.

5 Tips to Charlie Sheen-esque Success

1) Be born to an already-famous actor father. Check.  This way it makes it easier to get into Hollywood, where if you’re on top you can do pretty much whatever you want.

2) Be a pretty good, funny, self-aware actor. Charlie Sheen is all of the above.  He does bring something to the table.  And it tends to be his real life exploits that inform his on-screen persona.  Case in point: Two and a Half Men.  He plays a, well, you know who he plays.  He plays himself, albeit maybe a cleaner, more TV-fied version.

3) Bang ‘em All. Sheen is very solid in this department and seems to get the job done with the ladies.  Money, a hit show, and fame will help you out here.  Okay, so this is more of a result of attaining Charlie Sheen-esque glory and fame rather than a rule to get there, but still, I had to mention it.

4) Stay in the Papers. You have to be the butt of sensational headlines if you want to be king shit of turd mountain.  It’s just the way it is.  The media (and Hollywood) will love you if you can give it what it wants.  And what it wants is dirt.  And any press is good press, right?  I think you guys are catching on here.

5) Just keep trucking like everything’s cool. This is the part of the game I think Sheen really has figured out.  He does not seem to care about what anyone else thinks.  He just keeps moving forward.  Keep truckin.’

Charlie Sheen has sure made a heck of a career out of a crazy lifestyle.  I guess he is living proof that being authentic and true to yourself can take you to the top.  If you consider the the fact that he now makes close to a million bucks an episode for a show that’s basically about a character based on him, you see where I’m going with this.

Charlie Sheen is a better person in his show than in real life. He is at the bottom and the only way to go is up from here. I could see him doing a 180 and becoming a religious freak.

Charlie sheen is so crazy. I wonder how he is dealing with the fact that he lost his role to Ashton. I guess he didn’t end up “winning.”

Long live Sheen. I hope he comes back with a new tv show like they are saying. That would be epic.

Charlie Sheen is a talented actor, yes, but a loser in life also. It’s sad to see him fall prey to his demons.

Charlie has a new show that I believe will be on the FX network called Anger Management. He’s also in a new Fiat commercial. That guy sure knows how to turn his lifestyle into a brand that people want more of.
