Let me repeat the question here: Is Party Down the best show on TV?
Let me repeat the answer: Yes. It is.
If you haven’t seen Party Down, I highly recommend it. And this is coming from a guy who’s only seen three full episodes of Party Down, which is an original series on the Starz pay network.
I haven’t even seen season one and I’m that bullish on this show already. Party Down is the kind of show I would want to make if I was able to create, write, produce, and get a show made. The thing that makes Party Down so good is that the actors are all very capable comedic actors and the writing is crisp and filled with smart, dry humor.
If you like good, smart comedy, I think you should get into this show which is a chronicling of the exploits of a small catering company peopled with young aspiring actors and writers. Everyone is waiting for their “big break” and serving champagne in the meantime.
