Verizon Unlimited No Contract Plan (Unleashed)

verizon unleashed cell phones prepaidVerizon has a new no contract unlimited plan called Unleashed.  With this plan, customers can use unlimited talk, text, and web for the monthly cost of $50.  Verizon Unleashed can be used with three phones at the moment, LG Cosmos, LG Accolade, and Pantech Caper.  These are all decent enough phones. The Accolade only costs $39.99, which is pretty darn affordable.

Redonculously Low Monthly Price

Add to the low cost the $50 per month plan for unlimited use and you can see how you can save with this plan.  Verizon’s unlimited plan looks like it could change the game for all the prepaid companies out there trying to sell phones and talk time.  If it saves you money, then you know things will change because that’s what consumers care about.

What are the Other Prepaid Plans?

There are other plans out there to be sure, but can they match up to Verizon’s network?  Do Boost Mobile and Straight Talk quite match up?  It’s not clear yet which of these companies is the best, but the truth is it just depends on your needs.  If you need an unlimited prepaid plan with no contract, then this Verizon Unleashed plan could fit the bill.  Straight Talk is a serious competitor, especially since it started releasing Android phones that are pretty killer.

Yes, this deal looks incredible. If only there were some good phones to use with this unlimited plan. That’s my problem sometimes. Verizon unlimited for $50? Yes please.

I don’t know but it seems kind of expensive for this verizon prepaid plans. Why not just go with Straight Talk, which uses verizon and is cheaper. Plus, it has a lot more phones to choose from, like the Nokia E5 smart phone.

Sam – The other issue is that Verizon Unleashed is only available in California and Florida right now. It looks like it will be released in more states soon though.

Great plan. you can always count on Verizon to compete with any and all willing competition. Gotta love the big v. But their prepaid plan is not really that good.

Verizon has an even newer plan out now for $35 per month for unlimited text and data and 500 minutes of talk time. You can only use low level phones though that cost somewhere around $40 to $80, so that’s kind of a bust.
